Funny signs and Hidden gateways.

In January of this year I went with my step-mum to Scotts Head, which is in the Nambucca heads. We had heaps of fun and as we were driving out of Scotts Head I noticed this really funny sign that was positioned on the side of the Highway. I wonder if you can pick out what's ironic about it.

Yes we have wild koalas in Australia, yes we have wild kangaroos in Australia, no we don't have wild elephants in Australia! I think that if people are going to put signs on the side of the highway that say 'LOOK OUT! WILDLIFE ABOUT!' then they really need to learn exactly what king of wildlife we have in Australia.

The next photo that I have is just a random photo I took one day. It's just a little hidden gateway I found which I thought looked rather cool.

I know, it seems kind of boring but I just love the way the walls look as if they are curved, to me anyway. I think this hidden gateway looks...mysterious.

Flowers and Fire.

Recently I took some photos of the two only flowers that I have on my balcony. Yes only two (it sucks living in an apartment). I tried to get some good photos but they may be a bit blurry because it was very windy that day.

This is actually a very small rose (I think it's a rose),  only slightly bigger than my big toe.

This is a just a random yellow flower that I happened to spot. I had never seen this flower before. All of a sudden it just grew.

The other photo that I have today were taken earlier in the year. They were taken in winter. In winter we always have an open fire going and since I was really bored that night I decided to get my camera out and take some creative photos of the flames.
This is my favorite one out of all the fire shots.

What I love most about this photo is the way you can see the flames wrapping around the logs. To me when I see this photo I can almost see the flames curling over the logs and moving in one fast motion.

Well that's all for today. I will write again soon.

My Favorite Photos.

Back again! Finally found the time to write a new post and now here I am! I decided to actually use the photos that I uploaded because I have never used them before. My four favorite photos are just random photos I took when I first got my camera... in other words, they were tests, but they seemed to turn out alright.
This first photo is one of my cat. I tried to take a photo of her just laying there but the flash startled her, hence the scared look on her face.

This second photo is actually a peacock feather. This photo wasn't meant to be blurry but I think it looks cool anyway. Certainly a very abstract photo.

This third photo is quite obviously a candle. I quite like this photo.

And last but not least is one of my favorite photos ever. My Grandmother and my parents all love this photo and so do I.

The inside of a rose in full bloom.
I hope everyone had a nice day today just like I did.
Bye for now!

Mushrooms and Peppercorns.

Last week I went with my Grandmother to the Yarra Valley by car to visit its beautiful scenery and enjoy the afternoon with a picnic. I found two little surprises that I HAD to take a photo of and those two things are mushrooms and peppercorns.

This was our picnic basket that we prepared.

The peppercorn tree.

And last but not least, the mushrooms.

What a lovely day I had. I hope you did too!

The Easter Flower.

The Hakia is a flower that is native to New Zealand and only blooms in April and May therefore I like to call it the Easter Flower. I took some photos this morning of my Grandmothers Hakia tree and I tried to get some close ups of the actual flower. These were the results.

In the photo above I have even caught an image of a bee.

Since this is what I call the Easter Flower I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
